A Story About Flowers, Joy And Life

I love beautiful flowers. I love how they brighten up a space and make me smile. I buy them even though I know they are meant to wilt and go. In that point they remind me of life. They come, they bring joy and they go. But flowers will always remind me of one more thing: of the #2flowergirls

I have joined their bloomy and joyful blog series a few times and today I am sad to be joining it for the last time as one of the two flowers has left us for good. But remembering the moment when a ‘flower’ leaves us seems not to be the right thing to me. I remember the flower in its full bloom, thriving with life, enchanting the beholder, making people smile. Making people happy. I remember the beauty, goodness and happiness they bring. It is exactly that way how I will remember her: smiling, friendly and surrounded by her beloved flowers. You will be missed! These flowers are for you, Inga!

Gorgeous dahlias, Igor! A happy coincidence that we both choose the same flowers to remember Inga. And a very happy Atelier Stella vase <3 Her coiffure makes me smile!

dahlias! they’re beautiful! my friend who lives in chicago has them growing like crazy in the back garden – planted and watered by her mother. the first word i saw in your story today was “remind.” i’m feeling somehow that early fall must be the time for memory x

Thank you all my friends. I was deeply touched by this loss and it reminded me that we all must cherish our lives and be happy for every moment we are here – Inga was like that. And I will always think of flowers when I think of her.

Oh, Igor. Beautifully written and expressed. Inga was appointed my ‘buddy’ at Holly Becker’s decor8 workshop in Hannover 2 years go and she was the sweetest, most gentle person. I really enjoyed her company and was shocked to find about about her illness and then, her parting last week. I can’t believe she is gone, but wherever she is, she will be smiling down at the beautiful words and images you posted on your blog today. Holly x

Oh Igor, this is so beautiful, and I love that you chose an atelier Stella vase, as she loved them. It is so Inga.

You make me stop my day for a second and appreciate the roses in my tiny garden. Today I see them more beautiful than ever.

    Have a Happy day
