If you are interested in interior design, styling and photography, sooner or later you end up with something blissful from Scandinavia. Pristine interiors, a refined approach to styling, and design classics to please our craving for timeless beauty. That’s how I ended up on the website of Anna Kern, a Swedish interior and lifestyle photographer.
I glanced through her amazing portfolio here and enjoyed every single click. Even though she features various interiors, you can always notice her great eye for colour compositions, angles and light plays. Whether it’s a typical Scandinavian home with bright whites and small, colourful details or a more rustic, natural home with different tactile surfaces and patterns – her photography conveys the beauty that is inherent in any interior that is not an accommodation but a home with personality. Happy Friday!

amazing shoots! so much to learn with it comes to styling for photos and I love how “live-in” these photos look!
This is stunning! This kind of photos make me wanna move to Scandinavia immediately. I admire the vibrant colours of her photos!
Thanks for introducing 😉
White interiors are the best! 😉 She’s amazing!
Wonderful interiors – and you’re so right, it’s the combination of classic Swedish style with individual personality that makes them so appealing and lifts them above a studied, ‘decorated’ look. Love these, thanks for the link 🙂
Beautiful spaces, all their own distinct style and simply gorgeous pictures of them. I’m loving the window with the three dala horses displayed. Scandinavians in general have such an amazing way of dealing with interiors and design! 😉
what a lovely post, what amazing photos!
Just lovely shots-Scandinavian design is just so wonderful. Have a lovely weekend Igor! 🙂
What a great Friday post…cheerful and bright. Scandinavian style is one of my favs and these photographs inspire a reverence to space & color. I’ve got to get myself to that part of the world one day. When I do, what city would you most recommend I fall into design-wise? Thanks, Igor for the great post.
Thank you, Christine! So far I’ve been to Stockholm and it is an amazing, design-savvy city that I warmly recommend. My next city to visit will be Copenhagen, which is also a very strong Scandinavian design center.
Beautiful photos and styling!
Scandinavian aesthetics are my favorite. I’m completely obsessed with anything Scandinavian. I love Interior Photographers, they combine my two passions!
