Ok, I am not going to harass you with more Christmas inspired recommendations. I am through with my Christmas gift shopping and now I am sort of yearning for some other inspiration – products to refresh the home for a new year and past the festive decoration. Well, probably it is a tad too early as Christmas is yet to come, but here are just a few suggestions for a fresh kick-start in the new year with a new home:

1. ‘Bearded Man’ poster by Ruth Landesa via Nama
2. Forest photography via Etsy
3. Ceramic beach houses by ‘Not On The High Street’
4. Eames book by Taschen
5. Zig Zag rug by Design Folia

Happy hump day everyone!

Wow & Yeah! And although I am a big Nama-Fan too, my fav is as well the Ceramics Beach House – and – surprise! – especially the mint one in the middle 🙂

I am the first to love a beautiful carpet but I can’t understand how it is made in New Zealand from Berber wool? It looks like a Beni Ourain carpet (which I dream of having one day)

Probably it’s some sort of special sheep? And I agree, it does remind me of a Beni Ourain rug as well. Very trending at the moment.

Is it just me or does that man in the poster look like you?!! Did you model for the artist 😉 I love it and don’t get me started on the Eames book. Wouldn’t mind having that one on my coffee table.

Haha well for that I would have to grow my beard a bit longer:-) And that Eames book is fab, I bought it like a few weeks ago!

Have just ordered the Eames book from Amazon where everything was in German. Who knows what I’ve ordered! But it was so much cheaper than the UK site!

    • Reply Gerard @WalnutGrey 20 December 2013 at 10:30

And I’ve just cancelled it, again all in German! Why… because I looked at my bookshelf and already have this book but with a different cover. Ha. I must be going mad!

LOL you’re crazy. You should screen your library more often:-) It’s a fab book though!
