Life lately

Urban Jungle Book

I am typing these words with a certain level of guilt. Why? I just noticed that my last blogpost is already one week old and by my earlier standards I would have updated the blog twice in the meantime. But we change over time and so do standards, right? Life lately has been a busy amalgam of travels, work, family time and writing the Urban Jungle book with Judith. Last week we had a final meeting with our publisher here in Munich and these days we are finalizing the last details for both the German and the English book. After all, September is coming closer every day! So somehow it happened that my blogging has been reduced to a minimum. But I promise to be more regular once this whirlwind has calmed down a bit (but does it ever calm down really?).

Due to my recent trips both for leisure and work (yes again for the #urbanjunglebook) I have been way more active on Instagram than here. In fact, these pictures are all snapshots taken with my iPhone 6S for Instagram as I haven’t had the time to shoot proper interior pics these days due to my absence. But I do have a few interior projects in the pipeline which I want to share with you soon: I want to restyle my living room and add a new boho twist to it, I also want to share a little indoor gardening project with you that I did for IKEA and I will share some tips for a weekend getaway to Bologna, Italy, which in fact was my last trip the past weekend. Plus more New Zealand travel tips to come. Hence lots in the pipeline!

However there is more traveling scheduled too. Tomorrow I will be off to Paris for five days, then in early June I am off to a design trip to Belgrade, Serbia. And in between finishing our Urban Jungle book which is going to the printer in July. Keep your eyes peeled as we will soon reveal more about the book and will show you the cover over on Urban Jungle Bloggers. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts then! Up to then, here’s to real life and all its constraints:-)

    Hi Igor,
I am a new fan and looking forward to your next blog regardless how often it is published.
Makes a nice read and looking at abundance of houseplant in cool setting is my bliss, a few minutes of escape from busy life. Keep up the good work. 🙂 X

Jao znas da me pogadjas bas gde boli!

Oh I reckon you’re excused Igor, busy boy 😉 Can’t wait to see that cover of the UJB book. That design trip to Belgrade will be interesting, I look forward to seeing their offerings.

Thank you my dear! Well I guess that guilt stems also from some moments when I was simply to lazy to sit down and write a blogpost in between everything else so there I go, I spit it out LOL. Hope you are fine and I also hope you feel that hug I am constantly sending over to NZ??
