How fun and cool is a name like ‘Dear Sam’. Now you might not know yet what is hiding behind this name, but let me tell you it has something to do with your walls. What exactly? ‘Dear Sam’ is a Stockholm based poster label offering a wide array of contemporary posters on high-quality and eco-friendly FSC certified paper. To give you an idea what they have, I teamed up with them and selected three beautiful posters including a sleek black aluminium framing for my new Berlin home.
The ‘Pomegranate Study in Color’ is such a simple yet beautiful poster that is currently moving around in the apartment. Eventually I am thinking of including this in the kitchen once my dining table arrives and I can set up the full kitchen styling. Up to then I am using this vibrant pomegranate as a dash of color in various corners of the apartment.
The ‘Svanen, No. 17’ is a poster of a beautiful abstract art piece by Swedish artis Hilma af Klint. She was an artist and mystic whose paintings were the first Western abstract art known to the current art community. Yet her art was never recognized during her lifetime and today we are well aware that this interesting artist was one of the very first abstract painters in Europe – predating abstract artists like Kandinsky. I love the geometrical shape and powerful color play in her work. If you are interested in Hilma af Klint read about her recent exhibition at the Guggenheim here.
Last but not least is the ‘Sun Play Interior 2’ for the love of sunshine, shade, curtains. It looks dreamy and inviting yet enigmatic and sensuous at the same time. For all my posters I chose a sleek black aluminum framing. For more inspiration, simply visit our new friend ‘Dear Sam’.
As always all opinions and photos are my own. Thank you for supporting the brands who support this blog!

Amazing!! Well written and so wonderful post!! Thanks for sharing such a nice post us!!
Isabella
