Spring Balcony Makeover

Spring has sprung and despite the chilly temperatures here in Berlin, everything is in bloom and you can feel spring is in the air. So it was well about time to start a little spring makeover for the balcony. Some of you remember my small balcony in Munich. Now in my new Berlin apartment the balcony is even smaller, not to say very tiny. But that does not mean you cannot make it all cozy, beautiful and ready for spring season! The balcony is so small that I can only fit two chairs and a folding table. I was looking for quite a while and found the best and most stylish solution on Amazon – this folding table does the trick for tiny balconies like mine. To frame the little balcony with spring flowers, I have opted for two planted boxes from a Berlin based young label named The Plant Box. Check out their solutions, it is an amazing idea for a quick floral makeover!

Now the folding table got installed, and it was time to add a bit of decor to make it really cozy and inviting. I chose some simple products in a neutral color scheme like this white round metal tray and this beautiful lantern made of concrete and glass. A cute little Kähler vase found its place on the tray too.

I love the glimmer of candle in the evening, but I admit, I am somewhat scared to use many lit candles in a old building. Thus I though why not give it a go and try a set of LED candles and I must say, I love them! They look so darn real, it is amazing. I found this set of three LED candles on Amazon Germany too.

Did you know that on Amazon you can support small businesses and local brands too? I have opted for a metal lantern from a small German business and two new tea cups from a local ceramicist. Now the time is ready for a cozy tea time on my balcony.
