November is a good month to look and appreciate what we have! When it comes to our Urban Jungle Bloggers project, we thought it would be great and helpful to share our favorite creative planters with each other. I keep getting requests from readers about where to find creative planters. So here is this month’s topic with a round-up of my plant pots at home and sources where to find and buy them.

Urban Outfitters: Some pretty boho inspired planters in copper and brass can be found at Urban Outfitters. I have this divine little crescent moon planter in copper and a geometric hanging planter in brass – both from Urban Outfitters. It’s always worth checking back there as their product range gets often updated.

Livingthings: This Spanish design studio creates some of the most interesting and unexpected creative planters called ‘Voltasol’. These planters have a semi-conical base and thus have the mobility to turn towards the sun. They are handmade of red ceramic from the region of Girona in Spain and come in various sizes and colour options.

Atelier Stella: Another highlight – especially when I share it on Instagram – are my happy face planters. These are handmade by British ceramicist Stella Baggott of Atelier Stella. She sells her handmade ceramics regular in online flash sales so I recommend you subscribe to her newsletter in order to be informed in time. Be warned: Her ceramics sell out in minutes! It’s a real treasure hunt!

Labofem: Now this is a tricky one: Labofem is based in Istanbul/Turkey and does not ship their plants and planters internationally. But if you ever happen to end up in Istanbul, I strongly recommend a visit. Not only is Labofem featured in our Urban Jungle book, but she also sells the lovliest plant-pot-combinations ever. Most of her creative planters are handmade by Turkish ceramicists.

Studio Arhoj: The Danish ceramics studio is a go-to address for cute planters – or better said: for repurposed plant pots. Because Studio Arhoj sells the cutest cups and mugs, bowls and figurines covered in dripping glaze. Simply put your little cacti or succulents in them and enjoy the unique look. Oh and their iconic ‘Ghosts’ make for an excellent plant guard around your houseplants!

24Dientes: This Spanish webshop sells probably one of the funniest plant pots ever. The planter exclaims: I will survive! What a great motto for your plant, isn’t it? Add some good and positive vibes to your urban jungle with these creative planters!

H. Skjalm P.: If you are into beautiful ceramic vessels, brass planters (like the brass pot as seen above) and moody options, check the products of Danish design label H. Skjalm P. You can see their latest catalog on their website, however they do not sell directly. But if you google for their products you will find plenty of webshops selling their beautiful pieces.

Concept Modern: Here comes a hot tip: If you are into mid-century modern looks, pick a planter from Concept Modern. They sell beautiful planters in various sizes, colours and materials inspired by timeless mid-century design. Concept Modern is a German webshop that sells internationally. And I have an exclusive code for your purchase: If you buy one of their mid-century planters on Etsy, you can claim a 10% reduction by using this code BLACKFRIDAY2016 (valid until December 2nd, 2016).

Other than that I can truly recommend browsing Etsy every now and then. Especially if you are into vintage planters like I am. I will soon share a few more vintage plant pots (and more) that I scored on Etsy! And if you are a talented DIY person, you know what to do anyway:-) Stay tuned and happy green living!

jolis cache-pots pour ces plantes dont les “cousines” sont gentiment installées ici aussi, j’aime beaucoup le pot noir à pois blancs du cactus … le principal étant aussi que les plantes s’y plaisent et vu leur belle allure je pense que oui !

Great planters Igor! Love the hanging copper ones, the face ones, the funny ‘I will survive’, the vintage ones and the dotted little black pot. Thanks for sharing, I am definitely inspired for my future buys 🙂
