I’ve written about my obsession with vintage ceramics quite a few times here on Happy Interior Blog. And anyone following me on Instagram knows that I have quite a batch of vintage ceramics at home. And still I feel like whenever I scout for vintage ceramics I can find half a dozen new pieces that I want for my ever growing collection. During my last trip to Copenhagen it was an absolute must to finally go and see a vintage store I was following on Instagram for quite a while: Finderi.
Luckily the little shop is pretty central and easily reached by foot. When I set off to visit Finderi together with my friend and fellow blogger Nina of Stylizimo, I knew I’ll end up buying something. Or rather some things. Before heading to the shop I have aligned with Line, another Danish interior aficionado and vintage fan that I e-met through Instagram and I truly love her style. When I arrived there I was welcome by Line and by the shop owner Josephine and her cute dog.
Finderi is a tiny shop but it is packed with vintage goodies: the focus lies on Scandinavian vintage ceramics but you will equally find cushion, small furniture pieces, other home decor items and handmade macrame wall hangings. While I was chatting with the girls my eye kept striving through the numerous shelves scrutinizing the adorable ceramic pieces. At the end I had just a few more minutes left to pick what I want to buy – can you imagine the mix of excitement, indecisiveness and time pressure? Not easy but sill I manage to score a ceramic pot, wooden bowls and a small ceramic vase. Mission accomplished.
So if you love vintage ceramics and home decor too and if you plan a trip to Copenhagen, do not miss a little visit to Finderi. You will not regret it and you will not leave it empty-handed. Big Igor promise!
