I am sending a quick sign of life out of snow covered Berlin. We are in the grip of a polar circle with dropping temperatures to lows as freezing as -15 degrees Celsius but I am not complaining! The city is finally covered in powdery snow and today the weather was glorious – frosty and sunny with a ice blue sky.
Even though my Berlin apartment is far from being finished (actually the home office/guest room has not been even touched yet), it is already a cosy and warm home with scattered lamps, plants (waiting for spring to add some more), and lots of home cooked meals.
I love to peek on my tiny new balcony that is covered in layers of snow, even though there is nothing but two balcony chairs that I brought from Munich when moving. Slowly I am framing some amazing art pieces that I brought from Brazil and yesterday even a new iconic furniture piece arrived at the new ‘casa feliz’: the CH25 lounge chair by Hans J. Wegner for Carl Hansen & Søn.
Even though the CH25 lounge chair is meant to be the ‘reading chair’ in the home office, it found refuge in the living room for the time being. What do you think about it? Will you take a seat in it if you visit me?
